MARBURG, West Germany A letter from Hitler rehabilitating a German general wrongfully accused of being a homosexual will be on sale at an auction of manuscripts auctioned here Wednesday.

Hitler wrote to Gen. Von Fritsch, who reorganized the German army, on March 30, 1938,

after he had been found innocent of homosexuality by a military court.

"I can imagine how much those reproaches must have weighed on you," Hitler wrote. "Be assured that such an idea made me suffer ceaselessly, too."

The letter will be offered for a minimum price of 8,000 marks ($3,470). Gen. Von Fritsch died in the fighting for Warsaw on Sept. 22, 1939.
